2004 CLK320
I have my 2004 CLK320 coupe for 18 months now and after 38K KM, I have experienced no problem at all.

So far, I had to replace one burnt light bulk and a pair of wiper inserts.

My 2003 CLK has almost 15K miles on it, and nothing has broken yet! Not one single thing! I better knock on wood now.

11,000 kms (about 6,500 Miles) and mine too is cracked.

To make matters worse, today the steering colomn height adjustment failed. It is stuck in the upper most position and I can hear the motor whiring when the lever is operated up or down. In and out is not affected.

Off to the dealer on Monday morning for some first aid.

Really My brake light cracked too... Luckly my service manager warranted the brake light. You should take your car in.

Damn it... I just noticed that my front side marker is cracked too. Okay though. Now I can get clear markers.

latest problem

hood emblem was replaced on the spot - brake light tomorrow.

my whole "pod" on the ceiling by the rear view mirror just stopped working, mirror, interior lights, garage door opener, SOS and sunroof...all dead. brought it to the dealer on Saturday...they pulled it apart, checked fuses and found nothing. Back to the shop tomorrow so they can hook it up to "the computer".

this is getting old.

pretty soon I'm going to start demanding a CL 600 as a loaner....or maybe a honda.

they were out of MBs

at least i'm not the guy who brought in his s500 and got an altima...i suspect he wasn't too happy...they had so many cars in for service, they ran out of MBs as loaners.

on the head unit, they need to replace the whole unit...it took them 2 days to figure that out. won't get my car back until tomorrow. i guess i'll keep styling in my white granny convert...
