Burr Walnut (i.e. dark wood) - any pictures with Blk leather...
...I reckon this will be a great combo.
The standard "Brown Ash" wood (similar to that which looks good in a SLK, though thats called eucalyptus) looks pretty naff in the CLK. I have yet to see a good picture of the darker burr wlnut with black leather, but reckon that this combo with a wood?leather steering wheel will look great.
Whilst tempted by the Avantgarde two tone leather, I hate the Alu-chrome trim, and the black/dark grey two tone doesn't look very good in real life.
So any good pictures of this combo availble? Please? Have to spec my CLK500 in the next few days (August build).
Exterior colour preobably Tansanite, but Iolith looks good too (having seen it for real, but with grey leather interior).

Burl walnut and black leather are great together. A classic combination. Your dealer should be able to show you the two together in another model, so I would ask before ordering.

I think I'm going for Black with Burr walnut, as I found out it is the standard wood on a UK elegance model. I'm choosing this mainly because it does look good on SL500/CL500, but the interior of the CLK is different so wanted to check. I'm going for the wood wheel too as I think that will improve the rather cheap C class feel to the interior no end.
Hopefully I will get hold of a UK brochure soon and that will have the right specs / pictures in. I only have the International (in English) and European brochures at the moment, neither of which have walnut pictures, only pictures of the Ash (which I think looks pretty naff with black leather - it looks better with grey leather, but then the rest of the interior looks cheap).
The old model SL500 interior attached below looks great in this combo.
