Anyone notice this sound ?
I've been hearing an annoying buzzing/humming electric sounding noise coming from under the hood only when the AC is on, the noise is like what a neon sign sounds like and its best heard from outside the car. I had MB replace the AC compressor but the noise is back and I need to know if any of you have heard this from your car and or had it corrected.

I forgot to mention that the noise only occurs after a half hour or more of driving.

I have heard that exact sound. The service department has told me that the sound is coming from the AC compressor and that its a normal sound on european cars???
