Hello, I have a 2005 CLK500 that was made for the Canadian market and does not have the wiring harness for a Sirius Satellite radio in it. I have the actual Delphi radio but need info on the female connector that goes into it. It may be made by a company call Molex. It has 4 numbered pins in the actual Sirius Box. My guess is that 2 sets of these pins are plus and minus 12 volts for power and the other 2 are plus and minus 5 volts for data. The other two holes on the box itself are for fibre optic lines. The one connector that I am therefore looking for will have 4 very small female holes and 2 larger ones. Mercedes official term for this piece is a "SDARS MOST" connector. Can anyone please help with this part by looking for a part manufacturer and or part number? Your help is greatly appreciated. My email is: rosengoo at hotmail dot com.
All the best, Joel. (Toronto,Canada)

Hi Joel,

The electrical part is actually only three lines, power, ground, and wake up. You can jump these three from any other "MOST" component and you're good to go. The main difficulty is going to be getting the correct fiber optic lines, and putting the control module into the fiber optic ring. In my opinion, you are going to have to find the correct parts and get them from the dealer.

I hope it works out for you!

The connector parts are made by AMP, not Molex. You will have a very tough time getting them separately.

Suggest purchasing a correct wiring harness from Mercedes and installing it. It will require two wiring harnesses... one for the power (the four pin connector) and one for the fibre optic lines. You'll also need the connectors that go into the rear SAM and wake up termination point, but that would be on a proper wiring harness. The fibre optic cables will hook in anywhere in the loop.
