Yikes! Never use commercial car washes, either go to a hand wash or better yet do it yourself.

The rear angle of the tire seems to have way too much toe in...have a four wheel alignment done.

I would insist the car wash pay for the repairs, send a certified letter to them asap with photos. The car wash has insurance for these things and you should not have to pay. I'd estimate the cost between $80 and $100 per rim if they are done right (taking the tire off the rim with the whole rim refinished). You might want to get your insurance company involved so they go after the car wash's insurance co.

I know you're really bumbed right now and I would be too, but you have your health and many unhealthy people with a perfect car would trade places with you in a heart beat.

thanks for those kind words, its just that we all try so hard to keep our cars mint and the stupidest thing ruins it all..... the place i went to has no address no phone number nothing its just a privately owned "hut" in the 711 parking lot... guess ill just fix it since the rim is bent anyway from a pothole .... and ive done the 4 wheel alignment in march so i dont know whats up with it... i guess at the next dealer trip
