2003 320 CLK COUPE
Problems, problems

Hi,
I picked up my 2 year old CLK from the Mercedes dealership 2 weeks ago. So far the electric headrest on the drivers side has stopped working, the wipers have stopped working (rain sensor?), the alarm has gone off for no apparent reason and the remote central locking fails to open and close the windows if you hold the respective buttons down.
This is the 1st mercedes i have ever purcahsed (having owned several Audis)and to say im disappointed is an understatemnt. The car is due back in the garage on Friday, the Merc dealership offered me a smart car as a replacement!! Is this sort of thing usual for a Mercedes Benz dealershi? I Love this cars looks but im already beginning to regret ever having parted with 27,000 pounds .

CLK 200 KOMPRESSOR Elegance
Mercedes is recalling some W203 C-Classes and E-Class to fit a new "box" which my dealer says is responsible for a host of electric maladies. Maybe a CLK recall is on the way !!!

My '03 car has had zero electrical faults, in fact the only thing I had to get done under warranty was to replace the little orange flag that pops up when the rear folding seats havent locked !

tks guys

Well its going in to be repaired on Thursday, fingers crossed it will be the only time this year! I also told the dealership that one of the xenon headlamp units got steamed up in the wet and they have agreed to replace that as well, so at least the dealer seems to be treating me fairly.
Thanks for your comments guys .
