I'm running 235 front 265 rear and I'm experiencing some rubbing in deep turns, dips in the road, and bad bumps. Are you guys experiencing this, too? I have 19x8.5 front and 19x9.5 rear 37mm offset all around with 12mm spacers for the front and 20mm spacers for the rear. Is there a way I can fix this at a minimal cost? I'm wondering if I should use smaller spacers, but I'm worried about rubbing with the suspension pieces. How much does having the fenders rolled cost and what does it actually do?

Fender rolling is curving the corners out of the side fenders so that it flares out just a little, little enough so that your wheels will not rub against your car while driving. The picture below shows where the fenders would be curved. Fender rolling requires special tool to roll the fenders.

I don't think you would want to get 45 series tires for your front and 40 series in the rear. Your tires would be too big, You need to get and they will probably recommend you getting 35 series in the front and 30 series in the rear.

that's the thing, I do have the 35 series in the front and 30 series in the rear. The wheels should fit. I don't know why it's rubbing, other members have the same set up 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 235/35/19 and 265/30/19. I calculated the offset using a wheel offset calculator I found online where you punch in the old rim's width and offset and the new rim's width and offset to tell you what spacer you need but I'm starting to think it might be incorrect.

Isn't the bolt patter on our car 5x112? So will 5x114.5 fit?

A 5x114.5 won't fit not only because the bolt pattern is different but the center bore might be different, too.

Chi, what rims do you have and what are the offsets on both the front and the rears? It might be rubbing because of the spacers you have on. By the way, where do you feel or see it rubbing at?

I have 19x8.5 front 19x9.5 rear and the offset is 37mm all around. I hear a chirp which I think is rubbing. I don't hear it rubbing often, only in very hard turns or really bad bumps in the road. I think I hear it in the rear where I have the 20mm spacers, but I see no signs of rubbing anywhere. I also think I only hear it on the driver's side. Would anyone know what the smallest spacer I could use is without having the wheel rub suspension pieces?

I have 19x8.5 front 19x9.5 rear and the offset is 44mm in the front and 46 mm in the back. I have 25 mm spacers front and back. I also here it on very hard turns in the back (both sides). I don't have any problems with road bumps! In the front i don't here anything, but i took off rims and saw that it is also rubbing, but so little that you can even here it. Maybe 19th are to big for the clk.

I think the spacers we are using are too big but I'm not sure. I checked on the wheel offset calculator http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp Onekel, looks like you only need 20 mm up front.

if i would put 20 mm in the front they would rub even more!! because they rub on inside on the blastic (im Radgehäuse), not on the fender on the outside in the front! i hope you understand what i mean Chi
