stereo loudness
so i just got my 05 clk 500 and the stereo isnt loud enough for me...bass and everything... the only problem is its leased.. what do u guys think i should do..

Do you have the upgraded system. The factory system or the upgrade for MB uses Bose. All you need to do is get a 4 channel amp and power the factory speaker. It should be loud enough for you. I did this for a while because my speakers was backordered. It works well.

Here is the speaker set up for the factor 209 if i can remember correctly,
Front center dash, has a center speaker
Two tweeters located on the top door near the window,
There are two midrange speakers on both side of the door = 4 speakers total.
There is only one sub woofer for the entire car. I believe its an 8' but i could be wrong.
There are also one more hiddend speaker in the front underneath the glove compartment.
Thus I think there is a total of 9 or so. But regardless, all you need to do is get a 4 or 5 channel amp. Go to a local audio shop, buy a converter so that you can play it with the aftermarket amp. An good size amp should work well with your factory speakers, say and extra 100W x 5.
