CLK500 60k, CLK55 10-15K more. Not even sure if they are still making the CLK55 Coupe. MBUSA only shows CLK55 Cabr. 75-100 Shot NOS 500-1000. Math doesn't add up to me.

I agree....Benz motors are better built than most in the industry, but the AMG motors are more suited for NOS. You gotta have that bottom end beefed up or the chances shoot through the roof of damage. NOS causes those pistons to just SLAM down on that crank.....have heard of more than one crank moving around down there (twisting/lifting) due to the tremendous instant force applied on it.
AMG motors come "pre beefed" on the bottom end, pistons and rods.
If you do go ahead, start slow (small shot...50 or so) and increase the shot as you go.
Pray for no backfires...
Good luck.

Mercedes AMG and Non-AMG are not suitted for Nitrous. Go all motor mods, supercharge, or turbo, or just buy a japanese car. These engines cost way to much to replace once they crap out on you due to nitrous. Plus you will void your warranty and the cost to replace parts outside of a warranty are insanely expensive.
I think a 75 shot of nos would be okay for a CLK500. It will give you a decent gain in power, and the nos actually burns the carbon build up on the inside of the engine block when injected. The only time people blow cranks or their blocks is when they are trying to put way too big of a shot (200+) into a motor and tranny that cant handle it.

Please don't refer to nitrous as "NOS" like those f***ing kids who see fast and the furious and don't know the difference. NOS is short for Nitrous Oxide Systems, a brand, like Nitrous Express or Venom.

I have been N20'ing euro cars for 28 years. Installing Nitrous in everything from VW's to Ferrari's to mopeds. When you think of HP increase when using N20 you need to think per cylinder HP. If you install a 75hp kit on a 8 cylinder car you are only boosting the HP 9.375 HP per cylinder. Running up to 15 hp per cylinder is acceptable for a street driven stock motor based on a cylinder size 500cc or biggerm, this is also based on using premium pump gas. Driving a benz with 75hp really does not feel that strong, but it is a illusion. If you compare the q-mile times with and without only then you will be surprised.
PROJECT 450SL
1980 450SL The car bone stock ran a 16.50 1/4 mile time.
0-60 was 9.3 seconds. The car was an automatic. we added 120 HP of n2o by direct port (n2o and fuel injected into each port) 15 hp per cylinder. Car had 80k on the odo. Bone stock with Catalytics! Stock tires 205/70-14
after 120hp n2o:
0-60 dropped to 6.4 seconds
1/4 mile 14.62 @ 95mph
upped n2o to 150 hp
0-60 6.1 Seconds
1/4 mile 14.11 @ 95 mph
After approx. 4 bottles of n2o we had to replace the flex-coupler......
upped n2o to 180 hp! (22.5 hp per cylinder)
changed to one step colder plugs NGK BP6ES
0-60 5.9 Seconds
1/4 mile 13.89 @ 97 mph
Our goal was just to break into the 13's with this car.
We left the car like this for a few weeks but every 5th bottle we would have to change the flex coupler. We lowered the n20 back to 150 hp and no problems after that. Plus the bottle lasts about 8 runs. Driving the car on the street was crazy. It would spin the Michliens at 30 mph. I am sure if we ran better tires the times would drop significantly. or ran drag slicks? hmmmm
Other Mercedes I have done:
98 E430 90HP shot q-mile time 13.6 sec
86 190e 2.3 80hp shot 15.3 sec
93 400E 80hp shot 14.3 sec
97 C36 90hp shot 13.1 sec
87 300E 80hp shot 14.9 sec
All cars are still running today and have had no major problems. The 300E is
leaking ATF from the front seal but that is common on a 175k car.
SO....to answer your question 75hp shot on a CLK500 should be a breeze.
you car should run in the 13's. with a 100hp shot you should be in the high 12's
