I had an '01 ML320 with 44,000 miles and got $17,200 that's about as good as it gets because they can't keep it on the lot and have to sell it wholesale.
One more thing, it's not about the horsepower, it's the difference in torque and it's availability in low rpms that will help with passing or getting out of harm's way.
