Unfortunately, I was under the mistaken impression that Brabus only had one front bumper cover, which was the "K8". I bought one after I cracked my factory airdam, and I paid somewhere in the neighborhood of $2400 (It's been a while, so I don't recall the exact price). Had I known that there was a standard bumper cover, I would have gotten that over the K8. I do like the vents, but I don't like them so much as to pay $900 for them. Between the K8 piece itself, and paint, instalation and a rental while my car was in the body shop, I wound up paying around $4000. The ironic thing is that I regret going the Brabus route, as Brabus are more for the non-AMG cars, and truth be told I really can't afford their engine mods. The only engine upgrade available for my car (2003 CLK55), is the 6.1 upgrade, which is $32k plus labor. That's an awful lot of money top get me up to 425 hp, which again reinforces my belief that is not the best idea to go with Brabus if you have an AMG car. If I had a CLK500, it would make more sense.
Anyway, I'm hoping that I might find someone with an 06 CLK500/55 who might be willing to swap their stock front bumper cover for mine, and then I'll sell my Brabus rims for a set of oem E55/CLS55 wheels...
