Replacement

I am ready to replace my tires/wheels on my 2004 CLK.

I am currently running Michelin Pilot Sports. I am thinking of switching to Michelil Pilot Sport PS2's. I like my current handling but I want a quieter tire. I am not a very agressive driver so I do not mide trading some performance for a quieter tire.

Here are my questions:
1 - Are the Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 a quieter tire, especially during stopping.
2 - Will changing to the PS2 have any impact on drift to the right.
3 - If I decide to make all wheels the same, do I go with 17x17.5 or 17x8.5.
4 - If I do make all wheels the same, what do I gain or lose per handling.

Thanks in advance for your responses.

I've never had the PS1's but the PS2's are a great handling tire, and they are quieter than the Dunlops that I had before. The PS2 is the preferred performance/grip/handling tire for most of the M5 drivers I know.

I'm on my 2nd set of PS2 now. So far, I dont have any problem to complain about. Love the handling and grip, not sure about the noise(I always turn the music up loud )

I personally dont think it will be a good idea to make all wheeks the same, since CLK is a rear wheel drive car.
I prefer a little overstreeing when cutting the corner, making all wheels the same will just lose all the fun!
