I have an '05 CLK500 with everything but the phone feature and had some questions:

1) How much is the "kit" from MB to get the phone to work?
2) Is it something that only the dealer can do, or someone else? (if so, who?)
3) Would it be possible to hook up a Bluetooth enabled BlackBerry (T Mobile) to it? Or do you have to get a Mercedes phone with a different number and all that crap?

Help is really appreciated...

1) Not sure what MB will charge, but the fact is that MHI phone kits WITH MB phone are pretty expensive...

2) Dealer... or someone else with access to Stardiagnose who actually knows how it works - like MBenzNL, for instance. Since you have a 2005 CLK with MOST, your car needs to be reprogrammed through Stardiagnose after the install has been completed.

3) Blackberry phones are not on MB's list of supported MHI and UHI phones. Here is a link with phone kit info - please read through it:

(bump) at work and can't access but guy if any one knows please help i have the same issue i have a 05 clk500---command/tel aid and mic in the overhead. So i was think from digging and reading that the phone sys is pre wired....any help would be helpful
