Fudge! Valet slammed a Z4 into my car

Argh!! At the building where I work, we have these "valet" guys in the underground lot, as almost all the spaces are double spaces, where cars park behind another car and you give the valet your key. Well, I used to give them my keys, as I would park on the outside, but one day, I got a comment from one of the valets when I got my car back. He said, "Hey man, that's a fast car." as he gave me my keys back. I gave him a funny "how did you know that?" look and left it at that.

Well, I park my car on a different level on Friday, and I take the inside spot, so I can take my keys with me. Well, I walk to the elevator, then I realize I forgot my work badge, so I head back to my car to get it. As I'm sticking my head into my passenger side doorway to get it, the valet takes a fellow employee's new BMW Z4 and parks it behind my car. I guess he forgot to use the brake pedal, as he rammed the Z4 into my rear bumper. He jumps out, takes a quick look, says nothing to me, and goes back to his booth. I wipe off the dirt (sorry Zaino) from my bumper, and see that there arent any scratches on my bumper, or the Z4s. The guy calls over and says, "No damage, right?" and smiles. I say "I guess I dont see any." I then close my door, and hear this sound from my rear bumper, like it's loose.

So I now realize that my bumper is totally loose. It rattles and I can move it from side to side, like some clips broke, or the bumper broke, or something. I call the guy over and say "Well, there is damage - you broke my bumper." He calls the parking manager over, and he inspects the damage, apologizes, and tells me to have it fixed, and he'll pay for all of it. The Z4 was undamaged. Damn.

I would get something in writing from the manager acknowledging this incident. If you don't , don't be surprised when you submitt the bill he says "I have no idea what you are talking about , we didn't do any damage to your car ".At least this way you'll have proof - get the valets name also!

Damn right, you get this in Black & White otherwise they will laugh at you when you go with the bill for the repairs. Imagine if the damage is a lot worse than it looks? You could be out a few grand and the valet will still be free to wreck more cars.

I wonder how often they bump cars, but dont say a thing to anyone? Little b*****ds!

This is why I refuse Valet, and park no where near them.
About 1 year ago I couldn't find a spot to park in LA. and let the valet take it everything seemed fine till I Stopped at Starbuck's before the long ride home to SB, those little ****** dented in the left side of my mesh on my AMG front bumper I tried to pop it out but the dent was to extreme. had to buy a brand new set from the stealer they wouldn't sell me individual mesh pieces
