got a 05 500.......car is about 2 months old and i have noticed that every so often when i open and close the driver's side window it squeels about halfway through the process until it either closes or opens. Anyone else have this problem?

 

I had the same problem with my 04 CLK. After the window tint installation it was gone but it was very annoying.

 

had that problem...dealer fixed it under warranty. i think they replace the weather stripping

 

Had the same problem. Here's what the dealer stated it was:

Cause: Regulator Noises
726405 Inner door panel - on one front door
725615 Window Regulator - in L/Front door

L/F window reg. Cables noisy when operating up or down. Check for noise found window re cables noisy R&R L/F door panel and replaced window regulator and adjust window.



Funny thing was, on the drive home from picking up my car I stopped an In-n-Out and it still made the same noise. But have only heard it twice after and hasn't been heard in about 3 months. Hopefully they get it right the first time for you. Good luck!
