Transmission Problems!

I just brought my car into a new MB dealership that I never used b4 and now they say that I have a transmission problem that was a know problem of the part number of the transmission in my car! I can not believe this, b/c when I first bought the car, I complained that my car was slipping when changing gears, now finally a dealership that knows what they are doing and takes care of their customers!

Question is, should I get rid of this car or continue to hold onto it, hoping they do actullay replace it with a new transmission?

Anyone here replace a transmission and still have problems?

Thanks....I might think of defecting to BMW now for the 6.

Wait and see what they offer as a remedy...if it's a new trans and that corrects the issue, then keep the car (providing the repair is successful). Keep us posted.
