Lowering a W209
On a positive note, he said that the "CLK World Tour" is coming to my area on August 8, 2002 for the training of local salemen. He also said that the two CLK's that are coming for the showroom will be on the floor by August 15, 2002.
Thanks.
On a side not I noticed that I'm finally a MEMBER!!!
1. How much has the black Kleemann CLK shown in a recent post been lowered? What size wheels/rims are those?
2. Are springs the only thing that need to be changed out? If so, does anyone make them yet for the W209?
3. Who would be recommended to install these springs? The dealer? A custom shop? I would try it myself, but everything I have ever tried to fix/modify on past vehicles has ended up in a big fiasco. The W208 springs cost around $350 US, material only. I would assume that, if you can't use the W208 springs on the W209, the W209 springs would be approxiamtely the same cost (material only). How much would installation be?
I appreciate any help anyone can provide. Thanks.
