Scratches on Wood Trim

I have a 2004 CLK with burl walnut interior. Lately, I found a few scratches on the surface. How do I remove them?

(Not sure if this is true. Someone told me never apply any cleaning products to the wood. )

if they are fine scratches, you can try Zaino car wax.

The Z-5 removes light scratches and then use some Z2 .. I use the Z2 sice the car was new (7 months ago) and so far no scratches no speak of.
