Sound system
Has anyone upgraded their sound system in any way? The Bose speakers are definantly not bad for factory, but I'm looking to take it up a notch. I dont mean extreme rattle. Also, I have an 03 CLK500, and it has the 1 multi-directional sub on the left, but is the cover on the right able to hold another sub? Has anyone opened it? Has anyone experiemented with the sound system? and is there potential problems with adding too much; ie malfunctions and too much rattle?

i put up with the rattle till i took it to the dealership and had them take a look. on the service A, they insulated the rear paneling where the sub was and did some minor stuff like that to minimize it, but they also ordered me brand new rear paneling which will hopefully fix it.
try to get the dealership to fix it before forking over the $$$ for a whole new sound system. ill keep you updated on how it all sounds once the rattle is fixed.
besides that annoying rattling, the sound system is just fine for me. just wish i could add an ipod adapter but it wont work for my MY.
