Yes, the DOT does require that every vehicle have an amber light/reflector of some sort on the front of vehicle that can be seen from the side. But, I mean...no one really knows that, and chances are..most law enforcement won't know either.
I just ordered a pair of smoked side markers from eBay, and they come with chrome amber stealth bulbs.

If you want clear sidemarkers, just do a search on ebay... there are a bunch of those.

Thanks Apat. Ebay is most likely were I will get the clear markers from. The bulbs I am looking for are the silver bulbs that flash orange. It's a DOT thing in MO. M

On my manual it said to push the lens towards the tire ( it made the front clips go loose), then i simply pulled them out. Since i put in the clear side markers its been a little bit tougher, also a credit card

i need to change my side marker bulb. i tried popping it out with a credit card as directed but couldnt get it and im afraid that im gonna brake something. does this technique work on a 06 clk?

They should be fairly easy to remove. Instead of a credit card, get yourself a good plastic wedge tool - they are inexpensive and indispensable for working on automotive trim. You should be able to push the marker forward a bit and then pop the back side out. It's just spring steel clips holding it into the opening.

I changed to clear markers in my G35 and would like to do the same on the 500 I just purchased. Checked Ebay motors and came up empty. Any other possibles or just keep checking back on Ebay? TIA

I remember the first week with my 500, after driving my C200 for 4 years it was a hoot! Going to be that feeling all over again in a week or so when I get it back Kleemanized

Yeah, bottom pic is pretty ****ty cuz of the flash, but it is vinyl... and not sure what you're asking about the headlights. I upgraded to the quad projector ones in the GB a month ago and installed them myself.
