Vacationing & Trunk Space in practice
OK guys - so if you're taking a CLK350 cabrio on vacation for a week - what do you need to worry about?
1. Is the trunk space really sufficient to take your wife to a resort by the beach for a week?
2. Is this thing really OK in pouring rain or other so-so summer weather? While always OK once in a while - what if it's all you've got.
I'd love to hear from anyone who's done it.

This car has incredible trunk space for a coupe. It'll be sufficient for a weekend trip. As for the rain it depends on the tires you have on there and how much tread they have left. I had Pirelli P Zeros come stock on my CLK500, and later on I upgraded to larger wheels with Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3's on them and with either tire the car is incredible in the rain. I've never worried about the rain in this car and actually would rather drive this than any of my other cars (aside from the ML) in the rain.

1. I don't know how fat your wife is but most wife's fit into the trunk with no problem. You should be fine there.
2. It's fine in the rain, enjoyable actually. Even more enjoyable when the top is up.
