Taibao's wheel are not the same as the Moven for this group-buy. Plus that pic is my personal property. If you are just using the pic to show how will the black wheel looks like, then that's fine. Those are 19x8.5 et35 all around btw. They GB didn't go through with that because people want staggered set.

good luck wtih the GB fergus.

carlssonW208Rs,

Can you post pix of these actual wheels (silver color) on a car (CLK preferably)? I'm interested but want to see the real deal... Thanks!

i did a little research on the forum, other than the obvious fact that the replicas are 1 piece instead of 2 piece for the real deal, the lip is bigger on the moven's, which i like. I was able to find a pic of a c-coupe with the same setup that the group buy is....19x8.5 and 19x9.5....as u can see the lip is bigger than zico's car which has the real mb VI rims. If anyone has a pic of the movens on a clk i would like to see.

i have noticed that on replica rims, the area where the tire and the edge of the rim are dont look right. Seems like the tire doesnt hide the edge of the rim and that edge is more pronounced. Dont know if i am explaining it great, but i think you guys get what i mean. Is this from the tire that they are using? can it be hidden under the tire more with a diff size tire?

Do you know what the exact tire size is for these rims? Example: 245/45/19

If I can get tires for a cheap price, I will buy the rims. If not, then I can't do it.

235/35/19 front and 265/30/19 in the rear would be the tire sizes

Every time I see a replica on MB, I laugh and point it out. Most people know how to spot a replica too. It is very obvious. It is better to be seen with stock wheels Vs. replicas. If you're gonna get cheap wheels, might as well get something other than a rep.
Once you're driving an MB, there is very little reasons to flash fake wheels... it just ruins the image. When someone will complement you on the beautiful car and ask what wheels are those, what are you going to tell them, and how will you feel after? This is almost like throwing AMG badges on.
Just wanted to throw that in for what it is worth.

it's worth exactly .02 cent.....

1. lots of people can't afford real things. 2. image for the elitest snobs maybe, not for general public. 3. people spent a lot of money on the car already, does that mean they can all afford real big brand name wheels for simply cosmetic purposes. NO.

sure if one can afford the real thing they would definitely get the real thing, if not. there's nothing wrong with replicas. There is a reason the replica market is very big.
