What size Wheels...

I have a 2004 CLK500.

What are the largest size wheels I can put on the car?
Any advice would be great.

Thank you!

If you're concerned about performance and don't want rubbing issues, 8.5 x 19 front and 9.5 x 19 at the rear. Tires sould be 235/35/19 front and 265/30/19 in the rear. I think you can go with wider tires with 245 and 275, but I think that might give you a little rubbing.

Naw for real though. You can go with 19" in the front and back. Just don't turn sharp curves or your rims will rub on your fenders front and back!! If you want no rubbing at all go with 18".

You won't get any rubbing with wheel and tire specs I gave you with the 19's. I have that set up on my car.

It also depends on the offset you are running. The tire sizes you quoted with the wheel specs will be fine as long as you are running an offset of 35 on front(a 32 will work on frnt also) and rear. a 38 offset on a 19x9.5 in the rear will rub on the inside of the wheel.

I have the same setup then you have chi500. 8,5x19 235 and 9,5x19 265.I guess it really depends on the offset. My offset is ET44 on a 8,5x19 and ET46 on a 9,5x19 AMG wheel. I also have some 25mm spacers. Fact, rubbing when i turn sharp curves and no way to fix it.
