Rim/Wheels Size on a CLK 350
About to get a 2006 CLK 350 and would like to put 19" wheels (staggered) on the car...
I did a search in the forum, and couldn't find the information I needed.
Basically, I'm looking for everything I need to know before I go shopping online.
Bolt pattern, will 19 x 10 fit on the rear 19 x 8.5, what tire size will fit (with the Sports Suspenion option added), bore, etc.
Anything you guys can do to help me I would really appreciate it.
Thanks all!

I am not really sure on the bolt pattern but i know the recomendet tyre size. Its 235/35/19 in the front and 265/30/19 in the rear. I just got some new rims for my clk350 with sport suspension. I got 19" RPM R505 wheels with 235/35/19 in the front and 275/30/19 in the back. 275 in the rear will fit and it looks better in my opinion. Will post some pics later.

The bolt pattern is 5x112. My advise to you. Find somebody who really know his job, who can tell you the exact offset for 19" wheels that you wanna put on your clk. I have 19" on my clk (235/35/8.5/19) and 265/30/9.5/19) just like many others on here. Mine rub, because of the wrong offset. It is very annoying even though it just shows up on hard driving manoeuvers. But already the thought of it just upsets me. Many on this forum say their wheels don't rub, which i don't believe, but that's just what i think. You may also wanna know that width and size of the wheel changes the ET. So you can't get a 19" wheel that has the same ET than a 18" (which doesn't rub) and put it on your car.
A very easy test to see if your wheels rub on your fenders. Drive about 15-20 miles/hour then take a really hard 90 degree curve. Is there no sound you can be almost certain that there is no rubbing. If you really want be sure take off the wheel and look in the inside of the fender. You'll notice that the blastic inside will be rubbed/scratched another indication for rubbing.

The correct offset for the W209 with 8.5 and 9.5 should be et28-29 for the front and et35 for the rear. With your current setup the rims are being pushed out too far that's why you have rubbing problem.
If you run a 15mm spacer front and rear you will be fine.

DirtyVegasMB i don't know if you heard about the german mb tuner "vaeth", yet, they lowerd my car and did the offset. so i thought if they don't know who does. i also went to "ADAC" and they couldn't tell me either what the problem was.

2005 E55 AMG Style 4 Wheels on CLK350???
checking AMG website, the AMG style 4 wheels for CLK is 7.5x18 ET37 and 8.5x18 ET30.
does anyone know if i should be okay with the E55 AMG style 4 wheels? the specs for the E55 AMG style 4 wheels are 8x18 EH2 ET30 and 9x18 EH2 ET39. it seems the offsets are fine but i wonder if these wheels/tires will rub.
thanks in advance.
