Just back with my new CLK 500

Just back from Star Motors in Houston. Great salesperson, Curt Rich. Initial impressions:

Minus:

- Instruments are not as good as my CLK 430. Too stylized, menus are not as intuitive as CLK 430.
- Seatbelt presenters are fragile. Curt said the old SEC class would have these broken all the time, if the owner was not careful
- They left off the garage door openers on my rearview mirror--no kidding. Ah Carumba!!!.

Plus:

+ Styling is beautiful, much more luxury GT, than GT
+ Tortional rigidity is way better
+ A lot less noise than w208
+ More room
+ Better steering feel

Got rained on the way home, I need to go wash my car with my son Max!

Regards,

Michael

Talking

Michael T, congrats !
W209 is an improvement and a leading car makers is capable of
push this always.
Have you noticed the rain wiper ? no frame to hold the rubber !!
A new design makes the wiper "quieter" , yes, very quiet !
Keep sharing us your findings ........

I have it , an option code 231, buttons beneath the rear view mirror.
So I'm not sure if it's the misoperation of Michael's salesman.
