does the passenger side mirror tilt down when

the car is in reverse?
I have a 2006 clk500 coupe and it doesnt seem to have that feature. I have all the options except the comfort seats. My 2004 sl55 has that feature and i cant understand why the clk either doesnt or i dont know how to activate it.
any help would be appreciated!

CLK-350 Coupe Cadet Blue.. YE YE
My clk350 has the option. What you have to do is use the steeringwheel to get into settings menu, and ull see a list of things such as

convinence, comfort (idk) and look for tilt on miror. and enable it

Yup, set it up through the Settings menu. Then, once you have that set up, you gotta hit the controller button for the passenger side mirror. Its the button that you hit when you want to move the mirror. Just hit the button so the passenger mirror is selected and it will tilt when put in reverse.

03 CLK500, 04 X3, No 07 GT3RS :(
yeah it sounds like you just have the side mirror button set to adjust the driver side mirror and not the passenger side mirror, and if it's set like that the mirror doesn't move when you put it in reverse

That's what makes a Mercedes-Benz so cool.

i hate this function!

im very careful when parking so i really dont care to see the curb (living in ny you must be able to park like a pro or you will have what they call brooklyn bumpers)

my biggest fear is that while i am able to see the curb clearly (when the mirror tilts down), that i would end up bumping into a pole or something because i am not looking where i really should be.

it's nice that you can set how tilted to you want the mirror to be... on my bmw it only tilts down to 1 position and i find it too "tilted." at least i can program the clk.
