Rim's
There are so many nice rims out there. From experience, I would not go with Brabus or Carlsson rims becuase they are too damn heavy. I would look into lightweight, forged, multi-piece rims.
SSR GT3 ain't that bad either
At Shine's request we are starting a new thread. The new CLK's definitely need rims. The AMG's look better than I thought they would, but they look small. Lets decide. Kleemann, Carlsson 2\5's brilliant, the new Carlsson's 1\16 or the Brabus Monoblock VI's. The one piece Brabus VI's almost look better then the 2 piece. I am also thinking that 18's would be perfect fit.
Indeed, a sporty coupe with 17" is kind of "conservative"and looks small of the 17 " rims.
There're several ways people would like to put on their CLK
(1) An integrated package, body kits , exhaust, badges, rims ...
to make your car a holly Noble !
(2) Decoration, makeup it a little different than stock
rims, spoiler, exhaust are common practice
As Sleeslack said, most of the rims from A,B,C,L are weight
or they're not specifically cutting the weight, thus the price
is acceptable for most people.
(3) Rare & special , Ha ! MAE, Fabulous,Inden,Opera..... unique !
study an enthrusiast Mags for reference
(4) Performer, Hi-end light alloy rims help you to benefit superior
weight/power ratio.
Expensive , of course, they're less made with costly process.
Fewer choice than "Mainstream"
