hey guys, i searched the forum but couldnt find any instructions on how to remove the stock radio out of a 2005 clk. I just bought a euro comand and want to install it. Only thing i have found is that to remove the wood panel there are two screws behind the ashtray, but i dont even know if i need to remove those to access the stereo. Any info would be appreciated.

 

...if you want to use the comand for NAVIGATION you will find the euro DVD comand USELESS in the US as there are no navigation maps available for that system in the US...

What diferences between the removal in a w203??? the vent grills are not removable...

This guy knows what he is doing with COMAND. The drawback here is that he is in medical school, and no longer does this himself, but he has installed hundreds of systems, he has this down to a science. If I understand you, you have the Euro, and need to get it working, correct? If you are serious, I know how to reach him. All of the infrastructure you need is there. I retrofitted my 03, and everything works perfectly.
