Sorry if this has been posted before, but does anyone have any performance figures or comments on the new clk 320.

Just about to order one here in the sunny UK and any info would be welcomed.

 

I liked it enough to order one from my local dealer. Mine should arrive in approx. 4 weeks.

 

This will be my first MB and first automatic. I have test driven the car and have booked another drive because I found it very nice but also slow. Overtaking is a worry for me on our roads here.

Any modest performance upgrades?

Is the new 3.7 engine going to be available in the UK?

 

If you want something quicker there is the CLK500 (at a price)

or you could try http://www.brabus.co.uk

 

For that price, why not go for a CLK430 or even a CLK320? 0-60 in 7.9 seconds is just not healthy.

A CLK500 with no options costs £43,040 ($68,800) here against the CLK320 at £34,590 ($55,000). A difference of $13,800!

Then there is the cost of fuel...

 

Sheesh. I hate the UK...j/k I love London and Paris and etc, but I could never live there because of this little car problem they have.
