So far I have read numbers that range from a 0-60 of 5.2-6.0 for the CLK500 coupe. I know mercedes says 5.7 is that the right number?

I would say the 0-60 is right around 5.2 seconds.

60 miles = 96,54 km so for the 0-60 you it might take you 5.1~5.0 secs

Mercedes always makes their numbers slower than they always are. I also noticed that the numbers didnt change when they switched the tranny from 5 to 7 speeds. So, I don't think they update their numbers or really care that much. Just like the new CLK63, Mercedes puts its 0-60 at 4.7 seconds. It is obviously much faster than that.

i was talkin about the newest model. the new 500.

the numbers had changed when they switched it from 5 to 7 speed by 0.1-0.2seconds
the new clkamg is going to be faster then 4.7 from 0-60 it is going to be 4.5 or 4.6 secs.
ya always have to know 0-60 miles is not excat 0-100 km! that's why there is always a lil differnce.

i just went on the mbusa site 0-60 for the "old" 500 is 6.0 seconds

i don't know how you came up with your 5.7
