Coilover in front suspension??

I was just rescently reading the MB brochure and I noticed that it says and I quote "seperate rear springs and gas-pressurized shocks, plus coil-over struts up front, contribute to the CLK's smooth ride"....I'm baffled and I wonder if the front is adjustable, that would be so nice since the front desperately needs to be dropped...what do you guys think about this??
