well we can alway plasti dip them and then take it off if you dunn like it!

I think they would. I was going to plasti-dip them once it gets warmer to see.

As far as black rims go, I'm partial to the ST160 by Sonic Tuning (forum sponsors; these wheels mimic the HRE's). Mbworld member guofan has them on his white CLK (did I ever mention I'm a BIG fan of white W209's ). Check out this thread about them:

Just got the CLK550. I've had the E320 since new. It has been a great car. I hope for as much out of the CLK550.

Thank you. I keep my cars mostly stock. After a lot of reading I am going to get the Gateway 500 so I can have bluetooth and hook my ipod up. I also noticed a device to make the top one touch. And of course window tint. I cannot live in the south without it. I thought about getting the AMG 18" wheels since I think they look better. But I also have thought about getting the AMG wheels for my E320 and after 11 years I still have the original wheels. So I am a bit of a procrastinator. My daughter is turning 16 in July and will be driving the E320.

Nice CLK550, cool color too. It's a nice, darker shade of red. (cant stand bright red.)

Oh and nice E320 too. We still have our E320 wagon from 2002. I swear, I dont think we're ever gonna get rid of the thing. 151k miles and it hasnt aged a bit. I dont care what people say about the late90s/ early 2000s Mercedes quality issues, the w210 is an absolute tank.

Thanks, we are going to find out how much of a tank the E320 is when my 16 year old starts driving it this summer.

Heres my 06 clk500, need to take some updated pics after i got my grill painted black which looks sweet! In this pic i only have the tinted windows and blacked side markers. Any advice on future mods?

Welcome to the board! if you browse the 209 section you will find a great thread started by crislis called 'must have mods' or something like that
