Yes , the clk is really like new, even the seats bolsters are like new.

Yes we have a larger choice of engine, but only smaller or diesel (200 K, 220 CDi, 270CDi, 320 CDi,...)

My car is a 200 Kompressor, so its standard transmission is a 6-speed manual.
But i think that this trans won't survive to the torque of the 55 AMG ;-)

I just researched Fai+H777's posts to see how he did his chin treatment and found his poll. You guys hammered the crap out of him for that, so it makes sense that, not knowing that, I loved it. Typical I guess.

man the best thing you can do is sell your car and import one -already modded -from the states... but then the customs will kill you (if there's any in New Zealand )
I feel you on being on the other side o f the world, I used to live in Lebanon in the Middle East and had a hard time to find parts for my clk ..

Imports from the Us cost too much. Either a Singapore import or a Japanese import is the way to go. My car is a Japanese import

yea I forgot about the steering wheel being on the right ... how does it feel driving on the left side of the road ??

I know customs are crazy... i bought my 04 clk320 for $24k+ $2,500 for registration + $1k for insurance...
