What's up with the chrome trim around the tailights? This can only be seen in the US and I don't understand it...Originally Posted by CLK1990

ok:
Before

Corners

The instructions say it helps to have 3 people (which I totally agree with) but I usually work on things by myself so I had to improvise. I spent probably 30 minutes just making sure everything was perfectly lined up.

Started drilling holes and inserting screws with lip still taped and took tape off as progress was made

Looks good dude, I sure think mine added quite a bit to the look of the car. I didn't do the tape thing, I just held with one hand and drilled with the other, I'm sure you swore less than I did..

Thanks kev! Yea I've never really been a fan of lips, or carbon fiber for that matter, but I am liking how this one turned out. I'm going to have to get used to trying not to scrape it on stuff though. Haha yea the tape, I just really-really-really didn't want it to be off center or mounted farther back on one side or something so I was pretty tedious about that part.

I would like to upload some photos of my new 2005 CLK 320 cabriolet [pewter/stone],
though I'm not sure how to convert a jpg file [usually accessed with a "browse" command.
It asks for the url. Do I go to my photo files and copy what's in the address window, or
something else?

You have to host them on photobucket or a similar site and use the link to there, this site won't upload pics directly from your PCOriginally Posted by Stillpt12

You can upload pics directly from your pc. If you go "advanced" when you reply to a thread there is "manage attachments" further down the page. Upload the pics there

I didn't know that, like James I thought you had to host somewhere. I'm not nearly as good at the internets as I am at cars

Newbie

I don't think it works with Apple/iOS. I don't think the safari browser can browse/find files from your internal ssd disk. Has to be a PC.Originally Posted by Kevwood
