@mikata AMG badged non-AMGs are probably the most common mercs in many asian nations. At least that's what I've seen visiting Taiwan and Japan x) That being said, I don't approve either :p just pointing out the cultural context

I'm afraid you both are wrong since mercedes is german and germans, as all we know, use the international system. The badge gives 20 kW.

Nothing nicer than a freshly cleaned black car in the shade.

Not the engineers, and it isn't used just in Germany but everywhere in Europe at least. I know it because ich studiere in Deutschland ( ich bin ein Maschinenbau-Ingenieur). Anyway, I was just kidding Originally Posted by NardoNZ

Hmm, never realized how good the mesh style wheels look on the CLK. Always thought it was a BMW thing.
I wonder if it will look good in 17s. Currently I'm hunting for a set of winters (so those will be 17s), and not really feeling like eating the loss on my brand new set of 17 summer tires.

do you have 17's just for comfort or for another reason? we get a few through our workshop but never really like that size on the clk... I guess people have them because there is more rubber so a smoother ride?
ONTOPIC:
my ride as of today... when my car arrived someone ripped off the bottom of my bumper when they drove it off the vessel. Now the insurance is going to pay for a new bumper... so I'll be upgrading to an original 63 bumper hopefully... YAY

Partly for comfort (I have a Z4 if I want to goon around), but partly for another really long winded reason. I got impatient and replaced the tires the car came with and messed up my "equipment progression" so to speak.

Some pics while on the way to work. Awesome day out.

How the back end looks now:

New wheels scheduled to come in on Friday.

I like THOSE wheels disco, (may I call you Richie?) I can't believe you're replacing them already. And still no painted corners yet? BTW, aye-zee-enn saw my post about how they never sent my HIDs and they PMed me like immediately. Turns out DOT won't let them send headlight bulds to US anymore. I would rock some bright city/pkg lights and fogs if I knew what would work without errors and/or some nuclear ballast that'll melt my front end!

Lookin sharp dude, a set of facelifted tails will make a world of difference
BTW, sorry if you already mentioned it, I can't remember... Are you on coil overs? In your sig pic you're giving snow plows a run for their money, in your above posted pics it looks like you're going 4 wheeling
