I must be gettin' old, but the more I look at the top pick, the more I wonder: why do you have a license plate bracket on your bumper if you don't need a front license plate?

He's from New York and they do use front plate
but I'm sure he took it off and put the D2 plate as an advertisement for them since he got his wheels from them

In California you are supposed to use a front plate, but if there is no provision for mounting one, you don't have to do so. For the last four trucks and cars and twelve years, I've been removing front brackets (and any sign of them) from my vehicles. So far, knocking on wood, I haven't been stopped for that.

That's funny because I've been given 5 front plate tickets over the past 6 years. You do need to have one, you've been very lucky.

Amazed
I've never even been warned, even when I've been stopped by 'picky' cops. I've had an RX-7, an F-450, a '98 Mustang, and now my CLK; all with a nekkid front bumper in Calif.

Your car is nice. Maybe its so outstanding that it draws too many eyes?

im probably wrong but, looking at your sig pic i thought your rear lip was molded into the trunk like the vorsteiner trunks for the m3's.
