I"m thinking...CLK

Soon, hopefully within 2 months..lol...i will be getting a new used car...i'm trying to get info on both cars (E-500v CLK 320...i know they're completely different cars but same price) I myself am 6 ft tall, my brother is 6"2...will we comfortably fit (I can't tell b/c he doesn't come back for a while) with possibly a third 5"10 person...how's the ride quality? sound? reliability and how do u overall like the car...the one i'm aiming for is a 2003 CLK 320 or 500 if i'm lucky with black on black...i'm looking at a price around 30K..also how's the performance...i know the older model clks weren't the best I'm sure i'll find out when i actually test drive the car but i want to know what to look for

2003 CLK320 Cabirolet
A month ago I bought a 2003 CLK320 cabrio with 43k miles. I love this car. I am 6' and ride very comfortably in it. While there is not a ton of room in the bacj seat you can adjust the front seats to comfortably seat 4 6's in the car. I wouldn't suggest a long road trip but it's not bad. I would have liked the 430 for the 8cyl but this car will do 130+ and cruising at 80mph I am getting roughly 28mpg. My car has Bose, igation, heated seats, 6cd changer etc... The ride is smooth if not a little noisy in the front but considering what it is it is minimal and certainly when you have the stereo up or the top down you don't notice it.

Make sure it's under 48 months and 50,000 miles so you are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. This will also help you get an extended plan at a reasonable price. I got another 4 years / 50k miles for $2,600...

Good luck and let me know if I can answer something else...

Gator_clk320: Where did you get your extended warranty from? I want to buy one for my clk500 cause the factory warranty is expiring this October. Thanks.

I dealt with Auto Warranty Brokers and The Auto Club. AWB was higher to begin with but I played them against each other and got the price down. They are both brokers of Mercury Select so it was the same plan. Email me if you want the contacts name and info...
