Designo Poplar Brown Wood Trim HELP!!

Hi all,

I am desperately seeking the part number of the main centre console part that goes round the Comand unit. Basically mine is chipped badly on the edge so I want to buy a new one - BUT after taking the thing off the car I find there is no part number and cause the trim didnt come with my car from the factory (it was fitted aftermarket) putting in my chassis number at a merc dealer doesnt help

The trim is Designo Poplar Brown and its in a W209 clk although teh same peice can be on a C Class as well!! If you have this trim in your car any chance you coudl help me find the part number so Ican order a new one? Other than that does anyone know anywhere in the UK where you can get wood trims repaired?

it might be 2096807039. if you get the vin number from any clk that has that style wood the dealer can use the option codes from that vin to get you what you need

my god I think yoru right - I called MBUK technical and they eventually came back with the same code!! So thansk mate I think your right. How did you know?
