Car stutter at idle and around 1k RPM..Anyone face this?
Hey guys,
I just installed my K&N filters, then a few days later my car starts having this problem! It stutters at idle or at low RPM such as around 1k RPM! I have no idea what is causing this or anthing that lead up to this.
Any ideas?

I've had the same problem when i first got my car, when i took it to the dealer. they had to reprogram the ECU. they said that it did not have the right air-fuel mix in it. I would rund it for a couple of days and see if it can adjust itself, otherwise take it to dealer for ECU reprogram.
P.S. check your fuel milage as well

MBWorld Fanatic!
I just had the same exact problem last week. I stopped 2 times and the car started to shake and I could hear the engine revving and stuttering. I have aftermarket ECU, so that could be the reason. It hasn't happened since.

thanks guys,
I was suspecting that since my new K&N filter, the ECU did not understand the air-fuel ratio as well, since the enw filter allows more air intake.
what I did is unplug the batter for a few hours and it only happend once so far, but at least it has somewhat stopped.
hopefully it doesn't happen again.
