2004 CLK320
Mp3

My 2004 CLK320 coupe has the optional Bose stereo with cazette and CD changer. I am generally satisfied with the sould.

What do I have to change to play MP3?

I made that mod to mine and it works great. But this isn't for someone with no prior soldering skills. The circuit board that you tap into is rather small and the solder terminals are VERY small. You have to cut some slices into the circuit board to disconnect the tape's input to the pre-amp and then solder in some wires from an RCA cable. Very nice, cheap solution if you or someone you know has some circuit board soldering experience.
