Question about replacing air filter
Hi all,
Can somebody please show me how I can get to the air filters on a 04 CLK320? I can't seem to open the entire black housing. would I even need to remove that to get to the air filter? thanks in advance for all the help.

first of all you have to take the two intake runners off that connect to the outsides of the grill. then you pull up on the engine cover and turn it upside down to expose the screws that allow you to change the filters on each side.

To take off the screws you'll need a torx T20 bit to remove the screws. At least that's how it is with the 500.
