I took a short test drive in a new 350 cab. I was very pleasently surprised at the 7 speed's smoothness and the acceleration of the car. I thought that the weight of the top and all the mechanicals would really be noticible. I have an E320 so I was thinking about the increase in power might be noticable, but I wasn't counting on the tranny being a major factor, but it was.

The car had the sport package and seemed very willing to play. I was pleasantly surprised. The seats are very comfortable and supportive.

I want to drive the 550 but they did not have one that was similarly equiped and the dealer was getting ready to close. Oh well, next time.
