Same here.

And if I try to close the roof by holding down the lock button on the remote, it won't close. The only way to close my roof is to hold the button on the overhead console until the roof is fully closed.

It seems to me that this problem is caused by the roof not closing smoothly. I think the car believes there is an obstruction, which keeps it from closing automatically. I'll report it the next time I take my car in.

Guys

I had that problem with my clk. It seems that something is obstructing it from closing. It usuayll happens when you lean on your side windows.. causing the sunroof to 'malfunction'. Thats what the dealer told me! Take it in and they can fix it quickly.

my d/s told me to close the sunroof by holding the button to the close position, and once the s/r is completely closed, keep the button to the close position for another 10 seconds. Then all should be fine.

he's right, you gotta reset the sunroof if the auto doesn't work at all. but it still will stop again sometimes
