no, i don't go around telling people how cool my car is. my friends, the people i care about... know i have a clk. i don't need to show it off or try to get more attention by having a fancier key fab. seriously... how often do you guys sit at a restaurant, or a bar... and put your keys on the table just to show that you have a mb?! ridiculous. i don't know... maybe that works, i'm gonna try that tonight... i'm gonna walk up to a girl, show her my cool mb key and see if that makes her come off! ahahah

Only advise... but you might consider reserving the smack for your fantasy football message board....
While it happens all to often, no one comes to this forum to have their ideas, interests, likes or dislikes slammed...and by a Newbie at that. Dont do it to us....we wont do it to you. Its common courtesy and shows respect. There are people here that know an awful lot about these wonderful cars and have much knowledge to offer....and for free.
A mentor in business once shared this with me:

Guys, seriously... it's a key, a damn key! That's all it is. But I think you guys are right, that new key will look really nice framed on a wall. I think I'm going to do that. So when my friends come over to visit me… it will be the first thing they see. Plus, it's a nice conversational piece, right? And who knows… maybe we'll even sit around it and just stare at it! Yup, I know exactly what I'm doing next Saturday night. HAHA

I got the key from my dealer today. Everything works fine. I did exactly what the other guys on this forum did-- I went in with the part numbers and said that i will take fault if it does not work. But it does!
Pics are **** because they're from my cell phone (damn treo!). The key is a little bigger... other than that, put some "chrome" around it and it's the same!
