COMMAND System
The standard sound system appears to be the same one used in the C-class. Does the sound system build into COMMAND have a better amplifier or anything ? I heard the new DVD COMMAND system will not be arriving until mid 2003. Is this true and will it be worth waiting for ?

I heard no real differences, except using Alpine DVD based nav (uglier than their CD version) instead of CD. It's even more vector based than the CD.
Supposedly people will have an upgrade option on their 03 models, but don't know how they'd do it, since its never been an upgradeable feature before. . .
