CLK 320 problems
CLK 320 problems
hi
i just placed an order on a clk320 2 weeks ago and today i called my dealer to check the status of my car
my dealer said he didn't have my car production date yet but he said he would get more allocation soon
what does he mean by he will get more allocation soon?i dont quite understand it
and isnt it strange?
he should have had my car production date already right?beacuse it's been 2 weeks since i ordered mny car...shouldnt he have the production date already?
what does it mean?
does it mean i still have to wait like 3 more months before i receive my car??
any help would be much appreciated
thanks

Allocation
I believe what he meant about allocation is the extra "slots" for his dealer to receive the cars according to the different production dates. Dealers usually get a certain number of slots that they fill once someone placed an order. If all the slots are gone, they would have to request for more. Hence it would take longer to get your CLK.
