Tires

Can I run 235/40/18 tires on my 2003 CLK500? I'm planning on getting 18x8.5 wheels, will I have any rubbing issues without spacers?

CLK 550
Assuming you buy wheels with the right offsets, I don't think you'll have a problem. That's the setup I run in the front and I have no issues. In the back, both my tires (265/35/18) and wheels (18x10) are much wider and I have no issues there either. And my car is lowered.

You can run 235/40/18 in front, but youll need at 235/35/18 in the rear.
