W209 Rear spring removal stock to H&R springs

Has anyone done this on W209 CLK? I've read several posts that this is doable by removing the inner rear suspension arm bolt and slowly lowering the suspension arm with a jack till the spring becomes loose and removable. Sounds like a great way of doing this, no spring compressor required... and these seem to be very hard to find with reasonable prices.

Does the shock lower mount need to be removed? How about sway bar?

Thanks any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks, Juha

you can do it just as you said, i did it on my car last week, just as you said use a jack to support the swing arm and take the bolt out. lower it slowly and bamm. take the spring out.
