Help! NEed a new bumper
The other day I was driving on the freeway at night and saw something flying. I tried to avoid it but it ran straight to my bumper and now my grill fell off and my bumper is damaged on the bottom. Anybody know where I can get a new one for a good price?
Or a good local shop?

The insurance angle
This happened to me a couple of years ago when I hit a flying truck tire tread on the freeway (road gator). My insurance company told me that if you hit something like that and it is moving, it is covered under your comprehensive portion of your policy. If it is stationary it would have been collision. Obviously this does not apply to hitting other vehicles. I ran it through comprehensive, deductible was less, and my rates were not affected. Try it!
