CLK320 Alternative ??
Guys, I just want to know what is your other alternative, if there's long waiting lists for CLK320. ( oh ya, my budget is +- $50000 out of door )
I'm planning to order it on Dec and I don't know whether there is a long waiting list. I'll be moving to Wisconsin or Texas on Dec.

I was choosing between 330ci and 320CLK.
Went with the CLK.
Don't think the wait is that long. Went down to the local dealer about two months ago to have a look. They had one available in the color combo i wanted, and drove it home the same day. No wait at all.

2003 CLK 320
I LIVE IN WISCONSIN I ORDERED A 2003 CLK 320 ON AUG 26 IT IS OCT 10 AND IT IS NOT IN PRODUCTION YET SALES PERSON THOUGHT IT MIGHT GO IN PRODUCTION END OF OCT. I AM NOT TO SURE IF IT WILL, I HAVE HEARD ONCE IT GOES IN PRODUCTION IT STILL TAKES ANOTHER TWO MONTHS. SO MAYBE I WILL RECIEVE IT FOR CHRISTMAS. THAT WOULD BE A NICE GIFT.

There's definitely no big waiting list in my area - I changed my order about 6 weeks ago and had missed my change deadline by a day and had to completely reorder. I was at the top of the list the day that I reordered (Ie. no wait whatsoever) and my car started production yesterday.

u must be blind...
it looks dam ugly....its 2 simpel....i only like the sides,...
as for audi a4 its just the same....it looks ugly.....i only like the back

How much HP does the Audi 2.7 have? I read the specs were 250 hp, from a 2.7 liter V6. I'm like...whoa! M3 would be nice, only 45,000 base and low 50,000 nicely equipped.

clk 320 or 500 for that matter have no direct competitors IMO. the 330CI and the G35 coupe are cheaper than the 320 and are not really in the same class. the next luxury coupe is the XK8 which is 20K more than the 320 so that not really competitor either. as far as M3 goes, my take on it is that M3 and CLK's are different cars for different people. I dont think anyone who is in the market for a luxury coupe considers M3 and anyone whose in a market for a sports car/coupe considers a CLK.
